being a mamma's boy means someone is not a man and is still a little boy. as being a daddy's girl is okay because dad will always see her as his little girl.

It's bad to be a momma's boy because it shows that the boy is a little on the feminine side. That would embarrass him in front of his friends, and girlfriend.

mommas boy basically means he relys on his momma to much...daddys girl means something totally diffrent.
