This question does not violate the terms of service. Obviously, Yahoo is a puppet of mainstream brainwashing media, since they deleted my first question. This is a legitimate question.

Kenny, I do think I am brainwashed to an extent. I think we all are. I think some or most brainwashed people are those who insist they are not. .

The fact that as far as I can tell I can question most aspects of my existence. There does not appear to be any question that arises from any individual that I've ever met that freaks me out.

What's here to make me think I am brainwashed? Honestly we all have our own minds and the individual is the recipient of all their own information. Our own brains will accept or reject what we decide on. A washed brain isn't all that detrimental you know. Mathematics can be a veritable brainwashing but we all go through the stages of learning it to the extent that every week of our lives we are using it consciously or unconsciously. This starts at a very young age when the adults in our lives take us away from our homes and place us in a strange room with twenty to thirty other strangers just as mystified as we ourselves are.
Then it starts, day by day, week by week ten months of the year, year after year our brains are infused with the mathematics of academia. By the eighth year of this we are brainwashed with arithmetic!!!!
So what's wrong with that?
As to the cults of the worlds whether they be political or religious or secular, their brainwashing is by our allowance and we can turn it off if we want to.
We can literally think for ourselves, every individual has the tools to do so.

If a person is cynical they have not been too badly brainwashed. If they question anything and everything. Think I have been brainwashed by movie previews into seeing certain films so has everyone. Show previews often same ones over and over again. Difference is it is allowed not designated as cultic, called Previews. Car adds snuck in. Could be those who do not question anything about Russia from U.S.A. source as propaganda have been brainwashed then again just misinformed. After years of propaganda is hard to believe anything said about Russia. Right now could be brainwashed into answerring questions to up points. Answered because interests Me. Ads Brainwashing. Greed Propaganda Brainwashing kills people say people oppose it mass murdrers. Have not yet fallen for line.

I am unaware of Yahoo being a puppet of anything, so can't speak to that aspect of your question. But I think I am not brainwashed because I am not important enough to brainwash and am not involved in anything that those type of people would have any stake in.

I don't think I'm brainwashed because I don't believe a lot of the things that "everyone" believes. I don't trust the controlled media, the academic elite or most politicians. I question the propaganda they try to shove down our throats and make up my own mind.

I look around at the millions of people who worship things that no one has ever seen, who spend thousands of dollars on practically nothing, and who think that simply because something has been accepted by the majority, it is fact.
It is because of these people that I think I might be brainwashed.
I follow laws, which are essentialy just a group's idea of what is right.
I believe that a policeman has the power to tell me what to do, simply because of his job.

Actually, I believe we're all brainwashed.

I don't know if I am brainwashed or not. I think the only way to avoid being brainwashed is to have an open mind and alienate anyone.

Everyone is brainwashed by the circumstances and experiences of life.... unless one has developed no fixed views whatsoever in which case such a person is as good as no one (sort of no identity). Every view or value that one firmly holds on to, is the result of a brainwashing, whether intentionally or accidentally.

Because FOX news tells me so. Ha!

No, actually, I believe I am not brainwashed because on any subject of importance I try to hear, see, comprehend what both sides of the matter are saying. I might not agree with them, but I try to understand what they are seeing. Then I make my opinion by weighing my own values against what I perceive as the Truth of the matter - yet willing to change my opinion/judgement if I come across new information that cahnges my perspective.

WOW! someone who sounds like they appreciate Nietzsche. No we definitely are brainwashed by media advertising and the ideals and morals of society that are supposedly right. We continually corrupt children who become greedy materialistic people like ourselves. Everyone is brainwashed whether they believe it or not.

The only way to escape the cycle is to defy and throw out what we are told and figure out where our own opinions begin and those of the media end. Our world has become so involved in consuming and buying that it'll take forever to get back to any form of sanity that doesn't involve brainwashing.

Way to put a smart question out there
