We have been going out for almost a year now and I have told him that I love him, but he said that he was scared to tell me "those words" I stoped saying it so he can feel like he "was ready" but I told him again and he just shows it to me but can not tell me, im am wondering if i am just wasting my time or will he ever love me because I am sick of waiting. What do I do he is 31 years old and I feel that he should no if he loves me or not by now... right? should i just keep waiting or move on ...?

Some guys are awkward about confessing their love, but honestly after a year together he should at least say it to you once. Talk to him & let him know that you want to know exactly where this relationship is going. Don't tell him that it is specifically b/c he won't tell you he loves you, as that would only cause him to say it under duress (which means that you still won't know whether he means it or if he said it to make you happy). You should have this discussion anyway since after a year of being together you should make sure that both of you are in the relationship for the right reasons. (I.E., you want to get married but he only wants a casual relationship, ect.)
The fact that you've had a discussion about this in the past & you waited & said it again only to have him give you the same tap dance makes me think that you may want to move on. You should know whether or not he loves you by now. After a year this is something that you should not be hesitant about. If he was an 11 year old boy that wouldn't be surprising, but since he is a grown 31 year old that is pretty suspicious. I'm guessing that he's either in it for the sex or he's holding off on making it serious because you are a "meanwhile" girl. "Meanwhile" girls are the girls guys date while they are waiting for something better to come along. They refuse to commit entirely because they can then claim that you should have known it wasn't serious. Any guy can act like he loves you, but it takes a real man to say it & let you know 100% that he means it.

Right. . .Move on. It seems like the logical thing to do but it is also a very hard thing to do when you love someone.
Have you tried talking to him about why he is scared to say those words to you? Could it be that he has not said it because he interprets your not saying it to him any more means that you don't really love him?
Be direct & assertive, let him know where you stand and that you are ready to move on unless he is willing to at least share the reasons behind his fear and relunctance to say, "I love you." Also ask him if he does love you but is too afraid to say it. Tell him that you only want honesty and that he does not have to feel obligated to return your feelings.
Sometimes there are things in people's past that make them emotionally distant or dsyfunctional (family, past relationships, etc.)
If after discussing this with him you are still wondering if you should move on, don't hesitate: RUN don't walk away!

I wish I knew how old you are. He's 31 and been going out with you for a year and he's "afraid to say those words."

Run...if he doesn't love you in a year I doubt he ever will. When I met my husband we knew within a month that we loved each other and we have been together 5 years. When it is right it isn't that difficult, you just know.
