I wouldn't say more interesting, but getting older has been good because:
I'm not waiting to do things. I've already done them. Name a place, I've been there
I get to tell my mother what to do.
I have more money, so I can afford plastic surgery if I want. More frequent and longer orgasms.
A much broader base of intelligence that comes from constantly learning things, and over the years the knowledge accumulates.
I get to date gorgeous younger guys
I'm not a victim to the tyranny of other people's opinion.
I don't have to have a girlfriend with me to go to the bathroom.
I do whatever I want to do
and I still get whistled at when I wear a bikini! .

Surely it depends on the life you have led rather than how old you are. Experience is based on how many life encounters you have overcome but if you are 60 and have spent your life working 9 to 5 and watching TV then your experiences will be limited. If you are 25 and have spent the time travelling, meeting different people and dealing with difficult situations then you will have far more life experience. To say that old people are interesting is a generalisation which to a degree is true but not in every case. People need to learn from everyone no matter how young or old. Even children can give a person a new perspective on life and those who only turn to people that they feel are wiser due to being older end up with a very bitter view of life. For example, my grandfather isn't keen on Japanese people due to fighting them during the second world war. His experiences are valid but they are now outdated. I live in Japan and think that the people here are very nice but I am living in a different generation. As I said the quote you have is valid to a degree but I would hate to think that younger people are boring or have nothing to contribute. We all have a place in society and we should value every person and every opinion.

I just recently discovered a few grey hairs on my head so I'm not sure if I'm exactly in the "right frame of mind" to answer this question...lol!
Let me think for a minute....o.k....well one good thing about getting older is that my kids are growing up and becoming adults themselves, and we can relate to each other in new ways. And, I have time now to pursue things that I've always wanted to pursue, like going to college.
And to tell you the truth, being alive this long has given me the opportunity to discover who I am, what I believe in, where I'm going, and where I've been. I feel more centered, more secure, more at peace with myself than I ever have felt before.
I guess getting older isn't such a bad thing after all.

Yeah, I definitely have to agree. Kids who wouldn't have given me the time of day back then actually come over and want to talk and play around now. It's strange. I think I have more experience, including social, so I guess it makes sense to be more interesting. Does that make sense?

I think there are more negatives than positives. One of the good things is not having to go to work any more and put up with other people's stupidity.
