My daughter had a pretty bad concussion on Sunday was sent to the ER after losing conciousness for 3 mins. She seemed like she was getting alot better the day after and seemed like she was back to normal two days after. But today (the third day after the injury) she vomited twice. Has anyone had a child that had a concussion if so what was the outcome and what type of sympoms did they experience?

Take her to the ER. It's not worth the risk of not doing it.

I'm student athletic trainer for my high school's football team. I'm only a sophomore so bare in mind. We had a guy that got a concussion during spring football from a helmet to helmet hit. He wasn't knocked out. But it put him through a loop and he was in the hospital for three days and he had symptoms from the concussion for almost six months (vomiting and headaches) Concussions are a relatively harmless injury if treated properly and allowed time to heal. It's important that your daughter not receive another concussion. Your daughter is young so I would expect her brain to heal faster than even a teenagers. I would give her a week and if you're still concerned contact her doctor.

The vomiting could be just a stomach flu. Is she dizzy as well? But from personal experience take your daughter to be checked. The true extent of a head injury may not be known for years sometimes. Affecting memory and perhaps learning difficulties later on. Keep an eye on your little one. Best wishes.

Each concussion situation is different. This nurse feels that you should take your daughter back to the emergency room for further evaluation. Don't wait around on this one.
