well i just want to the the odds of me getting pregnant if ive been on the depo shot for like 6 months and i dont use a condom and we have sex about 2 times a week

Depo is supposed to be really effective. My friend was on it and never used condoms. So I'd say it's a slim chance of you getting pregnant.

I just got the Depo shot as well, and my doctor warned me that if I didn't go back for my shot the 2nd time, and didn't use any for of birth control while having sex I will most likely get pregnant. I would advise you to get tested, no harm in checking.

Depo is pretty good... but I ask,
Been on antibiotics lately? They knock out the effectiveness of the Depo and you could get pregnant.

You have a 1% chance just like every other birth control method out there.
I've known girls who got pregnant ON depo.
NO METHOD is 100% effective, INCLUDING depo provera.

Pretty much none so long as you get your booster shots. However, if your bf has a disease and you don't use condoms, you'll get that, and he might not know if he has something. So, ask him to get blood and urine tests for everything, and you should get regular pap smears, because there are a lot of STD's going around.

i was on the shot for a whole year, i never once got pregnant! trust me on this one! the shot basically shuts down ur ovaries from expelling an egg, so dont worry about it, you are safe!! i think statistically though, its a less then 1% chance. Be safE!

I wouldnt trust it. My mother got pregnant from it...well not from it but you know what I mean.
She wasn't suppose to be able to have anymore children and next thing you know I have a sister!
But she's one person. Who knows. Dont take risks.

99.9% effective I was on for 4 years no pregnancy while on it. Gain a lot of weight and got off.

u dont have to worry about getting pregnant. just make sure that he is "clean"
