1. The magnetic field is the "north" and "south" magnetic force around around an object that has the ability to be magnetic (or attact metals that tend to be magnetic). I.e. magnets made from iron and other metals like Barium, Strontium, Cobalt, Boron, Nickel, Samarium, and Neodymium.

2. Electromagnetic field is magnetic force produced when an electrical current runs through a conductor. The magnetic field can be enhanced when a shielded elecritfied conductor is wraped around metal that has magnetic properties.

3. Permanent Magnets are made from metals like iron where the electron groups of atoms are aligned in certian parallel formations called domains, if all the domains are aligned then the iron become magnetized.

4. Originally there was only one type of iron based magnet called lodestone. Then Scientist and material engineers have discovered metalic alloys that produce much stronger magnetic fields. Alnico (Aluminum-Nickle-Cobalt) were the first to be manufactured. Next came other "flavors" using several of the rare earth metals like Neodymium.

5. An environment where other magnetic fields caused by permenant, electormagnets, or plasma can't interfer. Some permanent magnets are sensitive to hot and cold temperatures, more so than electromagnets.

4. With the invention of new alloys, permanent magnets have become more and more powerful, so that fraction ounce ones now have a grip that can damage skin holding them comparable to several pound alnico magnets which were stronger than their predecessors.
