I would love to do this. But only if I were with someone who knew their business. I love to watch these show on TV too. All the tornados are so different and the cloud formations are beautiful.

Try hanging out with a tornado magnet. Me. I stood underneath one looking up into the funnel. That was in an area not known for tornados. It was time to move when there came number two and three. They didn't touch down on us but they did pass over us and set down a mile away. I now live in an area of Illinois not known for them ever showing up. But then, you wouldn't think of ever seeing one in Phoenix like I did. Or even three. Looks fun when those people on TV do it. But I can say, it was scarey to see one coming at us. The first one, I didn't recognize as one until they showed it on tv.

You go ahead and go and enjoy yourself. I'll be here at home under my bed with my pups. I am not afraid of tornado's.......
I AM TERRIFIED!! Living down here in the hurricane area I have had enough scary experiences. I shudder to even think of going. Now, like you, I really enjoy watching those chasers on TV but that is from the safety of my sofa. LOL

It might be fun. If I had to run for anything other than a short distance, I doubt I could do it! I love earthquakes, so a tornado might be a nice rush too!

Love to!!! Just to be up close and personal with one of those things would be awesome.
I am well aware of the danger and have been involved in a severe cyclone that destroyed my home town but I would still love to be on hand to experience what would be an incredible thing

I'm not one to purposely give myself an adrenaline rush, but I thought about this and the way I figure it, it could be fun and exciting. Should something go wrong and I end up dead, so what, I know where I'm going. Might as well enjoy the ride.

That doesnt even sound like a LITTLE bit of fun to me. Im petrified of them. Im in Conn and we dont get them too often, I love watching Storm Stories on the Weather channel, though.

"w00t"! "w00t"!
Sure Would, Oh, Yeah! ♥
I used to live in Louisiana and had Lot's of close calls. One tornado killed our shed (it was on heavy skids) and turned into a tiny ball of tin 1/4 mi. away. Saw many hurricanes and tornadoes in all those years!

Cool. Remember to watch Twister before you go. But never try to stay in the centre or send a mail to OZ. Good Luck!

Tornadoes are way to unpredictable for me to mess with them !!! I go to the basement and hope for the best. If you have never seen one or been near one you would have second thoughts about chasing them. I've seen them touch down and destroy my neighbors garage and twist their windmill tower down to the ground and spread their barn over the next field and jump over the next county and touch down again after jumping over my house !!!!!!
