Hahaha, Stepford Wives are totally cool. Look at the Desperate Housewives ladies. Doesn't everyone love the anally retentive Bree the most?! I'd much prefer to be classified as being a Stepford Wife than other stereotypical females figures e.g. the Dumb Blonde or the Mumsy Mum. At least this way I get to have business involvement and still be able to make a wicked sponge cake.

A great saying I once heard: 'Ladies, what's the problem with letting the man make the living whilst you make the living worthwhile?'

Heck, sign me up for one! I could use someone to help with housework and the cooking. I'll bet a Stepford wife would even clean the gutters out if I programmed her to take care of all the maintenance business around the house.

If that's what she wants and her Husbadn likes it then it shouldn't be a bad thing. But let's face it - if people can't ridicule those who aren't exactly as they think they should be - well then something must be wrong. Talk about Stepford. Irony at it's best if you ask me.

Yeah, some men do like zombies like this but there are a lot of men out there who like a women with a mind of her own. Personally i don't see why any man would want a women like that, there would be no passion or excitement in the relationship.A man who dates a women like that would probably get bored after a while.

Well, it would be a bad thing, for me. If my husband wanted a "Living Doll" when he married me he'd have been in for a whole lot of disappointment.

But, as my grandma used to say, "There's a lid for every pot."

If you and your Stepford-Bot are both consenting adults, then hey - go to town.

Now that's what I love a Razorback who's not afraid to speak his mind. It's not a bad thing; it's the concept that is held on to that's the bad thing; for instance the robot thing; most likely the authors opinion to get his/her point across. Anyways in all honesty I hold on to those values of that type of wife; others for their own justifications are repulsed by the idea; for we all know based upon the book they had robot like behavior; their minds were totally controlled and that's a scary thing. Many women, such as my self, have stepped past that and took a grip on the concept in another fashion; thus we're able to carry it out quite well. I guess the easiest way I can put it is loads of high self-esteem, being strong and good honest self -respect for oneself to be able to go against convention; not every one can and it's not as easy as it looks..
Other than that I can't explain it. Adding the final touches here. It's a beautiful thing when you come to think about it. A woman who is so in touch with herself that she's not afraid to give out that part of herself. She sees it as her kindness is being rewarded based solely upon her kindness; meaning when it makes her feel good to serve her man's needs she does so cause it she feels good about it.

While countries like Japan may like cookie-cutter people, the United States will always criticize them.

you may like them, but the vast majority of men i know would prefer a woman who can think for herself and who does things because she wants to. And in case you missed the memo, women are people too. It is not all about you just because you have a penis. deal with it
