If life is a journey, then we need to carry HAPPINESS, SMILE and moreover TRUST.
If you carry all these 3 things then you will be sure that you are on the safe side. And I can give you a much more better explaination:
HAPPINESS- brings a person happiness and if a person is happy then he/she carries on very smoothly in this life journey without any tension.
SMILE- because it can make a lot of difference in many people's life and if a person always wears a smile rather then frown, then it can bring and do million and million of changes in one's life. And as you say, " A SMILE CAN MAKE A LOT OF DIFFERENCE..".... :) ...
TRUST- because if a person is trustworthy then everyone would like to interact with you and to talk with you and to carry on with a coversation with you. They will believe you and they will always like to share secrets with you.
If a person has all the 3 things, then its for sure that he is standing o the safe side... :) ...tc...sweet dreamz...bye....

The Bible.
It's the best guide through the life you have and will not let you down in directions. Unless you disregard them. In this journey we are all pilgrims going to the end of one life so we may continue in another more greater world.
So, I think the the bible is like the owners manual for the human race, it shows us what we are made of, what we are to do, what to do when we are broken and how to maintain ourselves without breaking down completely.
I would make sure a Bible was in the suitcase on top of the clothes of our lives.

There are two category of things u need one is For the material world and one of the non material kind, unless you have taken sanyas
Non Material Type:
Guru - As a guide
Prayer - Gita/Bible/Quran and such like
Skill - I any field which can allow you to earn sustenance
Knowledge - To be able to separate Real from Unreal
Faith
Lots of Love
Detachment
Material Type:
Lots of Cash as it buy any material
Less Luggage will make your Journey more comfortable
Hand Baggage will be restricted due to terrorist activities

On the "safe" side hmmmm.... how about a vault? Or pperhaps a suit of armor? A million dollars and a bullet proof vest?
How about good health, good friends and a curiosity about life? Might not be the safest but it might make for the best life.

I am tempted to say that the essentials include a toothbrush and a credit card but I dont think this answer is what you wanted.
Life is indeed a journey. Keep your family close to you, and hang on to the various humans you call "friends"
They dont fit in suitcases but their telephone numbers will.

Next world as in Quran.
Yes the effects should be good as the cause of worldly goods are bitter. Jesus also reminded in the temple when money was being worshiped and chased them out.

Well to begin with a 12 gauge pump under my trench coat.Two suitcases.One full of ammunition.The other 2 nine mm with double clips.A .357 Magnum,a heavy barrel .38,12 grenades,six regular,six plastic and timed.Various wire cutting tools.A first aid box,quick nourishment,water,I'd like to take the .50 caliber but it wouldn't fit.All ammo hollow points.Whatever else will fit with suitable stopping power.TTYL...larry m

A willing and happy heart to help other people who may in return help you out later in life, no matter if your life is going well or not. And faith in life or God because so many experiences in life are a lot bigger than a person can understand.
