Yes sir!

The only thing that getting your tubes tied stops is becoming pregnant. You can still have your period, unless you have almost all of your reproductive organs removed ( uterus.. etc. )... and we don't want that, now do we ?

Absolutely. Tying off the Fallopian tubes only prevents the egg from reaching the uterus, just as a vasectomy severs the vas deferens that delivers sperm to the delivery system. (I don't know how fussy Yahoo! Answers is about certain words even in a clinical context.)

More practically, I had my own tubes (to use my own description) cut, tied, and soldered (fused by laser) at age 31, and continued normal periods until age 53.

Every month.

When they tie your tubes, it only prevents the egg from getting from the ovary to the uterus where it is fertilized.

Everything else is the same. You still have hormonal fluctuations, your uterus still sheds (creating a period) and PMS still sucks.

yes you have your period. The blood comes from the uterine wall nothing to do with the tubes

Your periods continue uninterrupted. All that the laparoscopy does is to render you unable to become pregnant in the usual way.

yes! The uterus isn't affected by the tubal. And, the ovaries are still working...the egg just doesn't get any where. So, periods still happen.
