I would hung on the line for an hour or so (Today looks the right day very cold but sunny and dry), than use the vacuum cleaner and that should do the trick.

Pick a dry day and hang the pieces on your washing line for an hour but keep them on their hangers, this way it gets a good airing but there's no need to take it to the cleaners!
