What do men expect from their wifes today?

Love me, and go to work with me everyday. I do the cooking, she does the cleaning and we both run a business together. I do the yard work and auto maintenance/repairs. She does the housework. We both haul firewood together from the mill or out of the woods. We work together well. I love her with all my heart

I think that any man who isn't married is going to have many more expectations than the men who have been married for awhile. This is because when you first get into a relationship, you think that your marriage is going to be perfect in every aspect, which means that the wife and husband will do everything that their significant other desires.

However, once you start getting into the groove of the relationship, you see that doing that will only drive you crazy. It's impossible to keep up that kind of performance all the time! So you just do what you can for the other person and hope that it's enough. I think that we should all have limits placed on ourselves. "I will never make you want another woman" is a very difficult expectations to live up to. "I will never do anything to hurt you" is one as well....because if I don't know that joking about your weight is hurtful to you, then I might hurt you accidentally.

I think that couples need to realize that there are bound to be times that they will hurt one another. You just have to trust that they didn't do it intentionally.

Sorry, these things were just on my mind so I thought I'd spit them out! :-)

The same things that makes a man a good husband - Commitment, the ability and desire to work through the hard times, to stay in there, to get it right.
The Patience to find out what works for the two of you, to give yourselves time to learn how to live together.
The Communication so that you can KNOW what it is that you both want, expect, and how things make each feel.
Forgiveness to help to get past mistakes, both yours and theirs.
The Understanding that no situation where you bring two people together is ever going to be perfect, simply because people aren't perfect.
And Intimacy - something that only you two share, that goes beyond sex, beyond family, a joining of more than just your lives, a joining of the souls.
All of these are part and parcel of LOVE.

You have to win his trust right from the first day.Respect your husband and his family & friends,then only you will get respect for yourself & for your family& friends.If he sees you sacrificing anything for him ,he will do the double for you. U will get many opportunities in day today life to make him realise that u are a good wife.Do it full heartedly.Do not force yourself .Do not keep any difference in his money & your money.Try to be a friend to him.You will see this way you will share a gr8 time in bed also coz u both will be feeling good from inside too.

Well, my fiance thinks that I am amazing because I am intelligent, independent, hard working, funny, has a good personality, loves cooking, I do dishes but I know when to put my foot down and make him do that, I take responsibility for myself, I am loving, caring, and I don't expect him to buy me things (though he does) because I like to do things for myself.
I think women like me who are independent with good hearts make great wives.

well im not sure .. but im a wife and i do all the cleaning and cooking because my poor husband works all day and i think he should be able to come home to a nice claen house and not have to do n e thing
