There is this girl that I talk to from time to time at school, but I want to get her e-mail address so I can talk to her more often that way. The only problem is I'm not very close to her and I'm not sure how to go about asking her. I probably won't see her for about 2 weeks because I went on Christmas break today, but how can I bring up the subject casually when I don't talk to her often? If it helps, I'm in 8th grade.

Aww that's so sweet. I'm going to make this really simple. Just ask. It's that simple. Sorry I didn't sugar-coat it for ya, but the truth is, it's that easy. Just do it! :)

You need to start talking to her more whenever the opportunity comes up...then just casually say you have some cool pictures of a snowman you made, or your cat climbing the Christmas tree, or any other goofy thing you can think of and ask for her email so you can send them to her...be sure you have pictures to back up the story.

I was sitting there talking to my girlfriend, before we were dating, about the internet in a random conversation. We were talking about like the yahoo games or something. Anyways it just led to talking about IM and i asked for her screen name. So I would recommend next time you talking with her bring up something about the internet that interest both of you guides to build a common ground, this is an essential part of persuasion. Then just let it lead into asking for her address. It was easy for me, hopefully it works for you...Good luck!!

If you're in the same class with her then you should use the pretext of helping each other with studies. If she's not in any of your classes, then I'm afraid you just have to ask, but be causal like you email with a lot of people and it's not a big deal to you.

do you have friends that know her and send hugggeee chin mail letters? well you could just look through the list of people that person sends it to and if shes on there be like.....'uhh is this (whatever her name is)....hi' she probly wont even care, its not like shes going to think your stalking her or anything, unless shes the type of person who might think that.

otherwise. just say something about this email somone sent you and start randomly talking to her, then be like. so do you have an email? and if shes creeped out by that she wont give it you, it shes not. she will.

ORRRR just go up and be like. 'can i have your email address?'

Get multiple people's. Go around to some people in your class or do the pass it around thing, don't be shy, girl's are meaner 2 each other at our age. Girls want boys to talk to them and her friends will be happy for her and notice you a bit more!!
Darn wish a boy wanted my email, she's one of the lucky ones.

Tell her you want to show her a link to something, or show here a pic on the web. Then say 'oh just give me your email adress so i can email you the link.' then after that- the rest is history!
good luck!

i would say very casually walk up to her & her group of friends, either that or have your friends mesh in with her group. then say oh, i got a new email address, & i lost all my contacts, have your friends give you their emails then casually ask her for her's. it's a nice casual way to ask her.
