The song you're talking about is NOT called "Requiem for A Dream". It's called "Lux Aeterna" and is the theme song for "Requiem for a Dream". It was used for the trailer(s) for "The Two Towers" but was never used in the film itself.

Requiem for a Dream is a title of a movie. However, the main song from that movie was made into a remix called Requiem for a Tower, which was made exclusively for the Two Towers trailer. It doesn't appear in the movie but is in the trailer.

About Requiem For A Dream, you know it's a good drama, and it ends so tragic...the filming and the particular types of camera positioning that Darren Aronofsky uses 'em, u know I like all of his movies, and his "The Fountain" is my most favorite... Requiem for a dream is a good one too, but It's mostly about drugs & those stuff, and I'm quite off these topics so maybe I could not interact with it so well, or get completely into it, but the last scenes really made me cry! For the end line, I just adore Mr. Aronofsky's work as a director, I've watched all of his movies!

The origonal song is called Lux Aeterna and it is from the movie Requiem for a Dream. The remix is called Requiem for a Tower and is was used in the trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The song you are thinking of is probably Requiem for a Tower.
