Using basic integer rules: positive and positive = positive, negative and negative = positive, positive and negative - negative. If this is some homework question, there would be no point in just simply receiving the answer and not understanding it. Make sure you know these rules because they are vital to do well in math.

-2 (+ and -) so, - 4 (- and -) so, + 3 and the same with + 7
- 2 - 4 + 3 + 7 = 4
