Harry Truman said " A man not honorable in his marital relations is not usually honorable in any other..." Some voters don't feel comfortable supporting a candidate who hasn't remained faithful to his/her spouse, can you understand their position??

No. Because politicians set a bad example. First the Republicans prosecute Clinton by spending billions in tax dollars, when lots of other Presidents did the exact same thing, then Republicans turn around and do the same thing or use male prosititutes, and expect everyone to forgive them.

The whole thing is a stupid waste of time.

Vote for clean candidates who are ethical and treat all citizens with respect, not just some.

We can never truly know what happens in a marriage. Donna Hanover-Giuliani accused her husband, Rudy of having an affair with a co-worker. This was never proven and both to this day deny it. He did start dating Judi while still technically married but the marriage had been on the rocks since his first term as mayor. Both Rudy and Donna admitted that they had been leading separate and independent lives for quite some while when he met Judi. Don't forget that the Media loves to put the worst spin possible on the candidates woes.

Other than qualifications and leadership qualities, a candidates has to have good moral values that people, including children, can look up to. An unfaithful candidate can shows his/her lack of moral judgement and character, which may impact on his poltiical and judicial deicisions. Besides, that can put the whole country into disrepute for other countries to see.

Yes I would. I will tell you why.

Because sometimes relationships die. Sometimes we do not know how to keep the fire alive, and then it is too late. Too late!, I tell you! It happened to me. But I will learn from that mistake and make sure the next relationship does not lose the fiery craze. I will work on it day and night to make sure the romance stays alive, not just in sex, but love. I've learned, and it's time to move on. I love you. I understand you.

Rules out Clinton, doesn't it?
(Gennifer Flowers, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broderick, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, and many others reputed)

Personally, I also wonder about Hillary's relationship with Vince Foster.

"Is"? I doubt it. I would take that to show an unwillingness to meet one's commitments.

"Was"? Possibly. Depends on the whole situation. People can change, after all.

I don't think I would. It takes two people working hard to make marriage work. If someone isn't willing to for that how can I trust them to work for me and you?

I don't know if I would, but lots of people voted for Bill Clinton, so lot of people apparently don't have a problem with it.

No, I would not... I do not stand for people being unfaithful whatsoever... I would not vote for them because if someone can be that low I would never want them to be running my country...
