that you can't handle crowds like you used to?

If not...why do you think that happens?

I have personally noticed that I do not like crowds. It is more though because of the people in the crowds. The pushing, shoving, rudeness, etc. We put up with behaviors everyday during the normal course of our lives. When we are given the choice we opt out for tranquility, peacefullness, quiet instead of dealing with other people and their issues. It is also a time thing. We live in such a fast paced society our time is very important to us and we always have to little of it for ourselves. When we are put in a situation of a big crowd, crowded grocery store, shopping mall etc. We get frustrated that we are going to lose even more time.

As I get older, I have found that I seldom find anything. Seriously, though, I do not handle crowds very well at all. But then, I never did. That's just me, I guess...

No, I think I handle them better than when I was younger. I work in a crowded atmosphere and I have learned to just block it all out.

I went Christmas shopping the other day. I used to love that. But I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate a lot of the people were. Some had brought kids that were running around getting into things and making noise while the parents acted like they didn't notice. people would step right in front of me then stop, blocking the isle. or bump into me and keep on going.......Now I wonder if I was like that when I was younger and was too "into myself" to notice how others seem me. I hope not.

I just don't like crowds, never have, but I don't have any problems with a crowd. I just start making weird growling sounds and occasionally bark at someone and everybody gives me plenty of room.

NO.

I think as we grow older, we become more mature about a lot of things in life. And that will explain why it must be easier for us to handle people as we grow older.

There is a saying that goes..."Experience is the best teacher." So life in general should be much easier as we grow older. :)
