She has had a hysterectomy and I've had a vasectomy so I would probably run to the window and look to the east for a bright star!

First, I'd be delighted that she called...
Then I'd ask her, "How is that possible? You told me you are a virgin!"
Then I would inquire about my suitability as the father of Jesus II, who DID say that He was coming again...but, hey, whatever God wants, ya know?
After all, we are both Jewish Christians...it COULD happen, I spose.
Then I guess I would have to learn how to be a carpenter---or at least I'd have to get a better job...the child must not be born in a barn...

I would ask why he's telling me over the phone. (if men could get pregnant) and then I would say yippeeeee! It better not be a girl!

We already have an 8 year old drama queen. Don't need anymore girls!

For us It's Way Too Late Now, I'm already 5 months, and counting, and this is our second child.

But if he called me and said that he was pregnant, I'd say great now I don't have to go through all of that pain.
;-}

You could pretend to be the guy on that commercial where his wife is telling him she's prego and his phone cuts out. Start to say something then let your phone go dead. Reall though...just remember, she will always remember how you reacted. Sometimes unplanned pregnancies can be blessings in disguise.

I would think "that's impossible."

I would say "Honey, come home right now. I'm calling the Guinness Book of World Records people!"

We would be celebrities and in Ripley's Believe It or Not, as my significant other is a male and besides that cannot father children, so it would be pretty miraculous and amazing!

Well after I laughed myself silly as he is a man I would rush him to hospital. But in your case if it's something you both wanted then congrats and say how wonderful it is and that you love your partner. :) Merry Xmas.

I'd ask him when we switched genders. And, then, I'd beat my head against a wall while asking myself the following questions: "Why in the world didn't I notice," "How could I not notice," and "Why, why, WHYYYYYY did the aliens choose US?" LOL

Probably something like "What, are you sure" then something like "we have to talk this out". I think it all depends on the ages of the people involved.
