She said she she never recieved payment for all of it, her husband slipped and said dhe did, and in the past three weeks I have gotten 80.00, 50.00 and 60.00 respectively. She keeps promising me she will have all of it the next day and avoids my calls. today she said she would cash her husbands check and pay me , I pffered to cash it for her at my bank and she said no I asked her why not and she said cause cause she already asked her mo to do it, dhe than screamed at me and said youll get money your f%^&$king money today OK!!!! and hung up on me!!!! What should I do???

I have never said anything rude to her about this yet, if anything I have apologized for asking her for it, but I only bought my daughter a couple of things so far and need the money for Christmas. I am a single mom with NO relatives, so all my daughter gets is from me. To top it all off the few presents I did buy are AT HER HOUSE!!!! Please advise time is running out

Your friend stole money from a school fund, and then asked you to buy her out of a bind, and you did. The fact that she misused the money should have told you she wasn't reliable or honest. The screaming and profanity is a way to intimidate you into ignoring her debt. Wait a few days and then call her again. Tell her you have bills to pay and need her to repay the loan on a specific date. Don't get drawn into an argument. That is about all you do, you have no way to force her to pay you back.

This is why i don't lend so called friends money i lent a friend $200 once and he said next week you will get it back so next week came i never got it he said next week for sure well it never came again i asked a month later and he's like chill man you'll get it i don't have it on me at the moment after 6 weeks it still didn't come and i well walked away from the friendship but his sister was still my friend and said here is $50 because i feel guilty off my brother not paying you,I then seen him again and he said my sister will pay you the money and i will pay her(i thought you slimey prick getting your sister to pay your debts)Then we went out one night and she bought me drinks after drinks then said so we are even i bought you like almost $150 worth of drinks that can make up for the $150 we owe you,I thought stuff this im not going to be friends with people like this and said to myself im never lending anyone money again,I had 2 other friends ask me for money later on in the year i laughed and said NO WAY my money is my money!!!!Hopefully you will learn from this and from my experience never to lend money out again

well this is a lesson learned for you. didn't you ever hear you never lend money unless your willing to loose the relationship. NEVER LEND money, especially when you don't have it to lend. so what i would do is go over to house and get the presents that are yours, leave, then begin small claims paper. or get presents from her house, apoligize to your daughter for not thinking and leave it alone. this all depends on how much this friendship matters to you. if you want to keep it, then take your loss. you will most likely will not receive your money back.

maybe she is having some problem she doesnt want to mention with u but i think she will bring the money and when u got the money dont mess up in such kind of deal when christmast is comming as u will also need money. And u lend only the surplus u have but not what u aalso need.

Tell her if she doesn't pay up that you'll take her to small claims court. Then, if she doesn't. Do it.
