I am addicted to playing my bass, if a day goes by and I haven't picked it up I start Jonesin. I start staring at telephone lines imagining that they need to be lowered so that I could give them a big icky thump. My callouses start calling out to me " hey funkybass4ever, how about picking up your bass and keeping us around a while.. we need some friction from those Round wounds. My bass amp starts to stare me down and gives me the silent treatment.

Why only ONE thing?
People addicted to anything usually are addicted to several things because they have an addictive personality.
That's why I never did drugs, not even tried a joint...I would be in a gutter right now if I did.
As of today, I think I'm addicted to my computer because when it's down, I really hurt.
Edit: I used to be addicted to Coca Cola...got over that.
I used to be addicted to nicotine...got over that.
I used to be addicted to chocolate...got over that.
I used to be addicted to caffeine...got over that.
I used to be addicted to love...got over that.
Now, I don't know how I can get over my computer.
