we just recently hooked up wireless on my cable internet. my computer desktop was quick. 6 mb. but now that my sister laptop is hooked ujp on wireless with the adapter my computer takes an hour to load up one page. but hers is flying. pls tell me how to fix my desktop.

If your computer was to get a spyware it will slow it down. Try a spyware removal- you can get Spybot for free and it will search and destroy any bad files. You can get a copy on the source I listed.

Well when asking questions its a good idea to give your specs and hers. Go to start, run, and then type cmd and press enter. That will take you the command prompt from their type systeminfo and press enter. You are going to want to mark and copy the system information and paste it into a comment. The next step is that you are going to want to type ipconfig /all and press enter. You are going to want to continue the same action on your sister's computer.
