When a life is on the line. Then you better hope the person giving the order knows what they're doing.

But quesyioning can mean a few things. Direct questioning to the person giving the order or a little introspective thought. If you have the time to think it over, it's always a good thing because more views on something creates a deeper perspective and your view is worth while.

let say it is 2am.. the road is empty the traffic red light is on.. and does not change.. must stay there till 7am... let say Mr X is driving in a 2 lanes road on the left at 30kms/hr on a 60kms road.. and has 40 more kms to go I should never pass from the right.. (just joking)
i think in a perfect world you should always obey the orders.. but we are not there, you obey the order if they are moral, and ethical, you have a brain, there is an exception to every rule

You should always question it. If not you are being a mindless robot.

But when to obey, that is a matter of discretion. Parents, police officers...you know.

Never.
Remember that after WWII, German officers were prosecuted for war crimes committed while obeying "orders". And disobeying orders then, as you should know, was, forgive me, verboten.
