We, as a society, tell ourselves that sweat and personal oders are bad, but perfumes and artificial smells are better.
Truth is, everyone has a personal smell. That's right, you smell different than others around you!
If you go beyond the shoe fetish of it, we usually just enjoy the smell of our partner. And after someone's worn boots all day, then they end up smelling like them!

Movies...you gotta love them...beautiful actresses, with full make-up and nice hair, waking up in the morning with fresh breath...and kissing their lovers...those are the women with the nice smelling boots.

maybe a man with a foot fetish. my friend dated a guy with a foot fetish. i honestly don't get it, but to each his own.
for him, he was a masochist. he enjoyed receiving pain.. so maybe he got aroused by acting "slavish" to his female partner by smelling her boots/feet/socks/ etc,.
