Wow I have not thought about that in years! It would be 1978, I had taken my Girl Friend (now wife) to a small town in Garmisch Germany and after a day on the slopes we decided to try ice skating on the Olympic Ice rink. We both had weak ankles but managed to have fun sliding around falling on our butts. Fun was had by all! :-)

OMG! It's been about 6 years. I used to be a pretty serious Ice Skater. used to take 2 private lessons a week and would practise at least 2 times on my own. Yes...I used to be quite serious about it, did this for about 5 years and had to give it up due to a bad, bad back problem...well, if you ask my family they would say that I looked great on the ice...if you ask me, I would say that no matter what I looked like a clown, lol!!! It was so much fun and challenging...thanks for bringing such a good memory to my mind, dear BABY D!â¥

About 2 years ago.
In my 3 times ice skating, I have yet to figure out how to stop quickly. I always just run into the boards around the rink.

I've never been ice skating in my life. I'm planning to go in January with some friends, though. I'll probably end up not skating, because I'll most likely break an ankle or two.

More than 52 years ago. We use to skate on the pond on the farm. Never was very good at it as I fell more than stood.

About 3 years ago and they have closed since then and there's no where else around here to go do that. I sort of miss it now that you mention it
