Sears/Craftsman has made it easy for owners of all Craftsman brand 2 cycle engine products including string trimmers, chain saws, pumps, etc. The recommended oil/gas ratio is 3.2 oz of 2-cycle oil mixed with 1 gallon of fresh gas. Stores stock a fool proof way of providing this accurately by providing pre-measured bottles of oil. For reference see link:http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_07136552000P?vName=Lawn+%26+Garden&keyword=2+cycle+oil

Fuel should always be fresh for best performance. It may be considered stale after 90 days. Fuel life may be extended by adding products such as "STABIL" available at most stores that sell small engine devices. But fresh is always best, suggesting not to mix more fuel than needed for a normal season.

I have one at y shop but I dont remember what the ratio is. I'm pretty sure it says right on the gas cap. Only problem was fuel lines cracked(inside and outside of tank)
