Im on this homestay thing in japan, and they said my location will be kanawagen-zen, but i can't find it on any maps.

There is a Kanagawa-ken and a Kanazawa-ken (-ken means prefecture, it can also be just alled Kanagawa and Kanazawa) both different places in Japan, there is no Kanawagen-zen to my knowledge. It sounds like you you misheard or someone mistyped.

You had better work out whether it's Kanagawa-ken or Kanazawa-ken because they are two very different places.

Is could be Kanagawa-ken(prefecture), which is next toTokyo, or Kagawa-ken, which is in Shikoku region, or it could be Kanazawa which is in Ishikawa-ken. You should make sure where you are going.
