Ayame, there are no scientists who say this. It's all a bunch of money-grubbing rumor mongers and doomsayers piggybacking on this most recent prediction of the end of the world.

The original prediction said nothing about a black hole. That's been added on. This alignment is NOT going to occur and even if it did, and even if it involved some distant black hole, there is no reason to believe anything catastrophic is going to happen. (It can't be a nearby black hole or we would have discovered it by now.) You have been given a load of bogus information, I'm afraid.

And God don't know squat.

The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, notably used by the Maya civilization among others of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, completes its thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle since the calendar's mythical starting point (equivalent to 3114 BC August 11 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar, according to the "GMT-correlation" JDN= 584283).[7] The Long Count b'ak'tun date of this starting point (13.0.0.0.0) is repeated, for the first time in a span of approximately 5,125 solar years. The significance of this period-ending to the pre-Columbian Maya themselves is unclear, and there is an incomplete inscription (Tortuguero Stela 6) that records this date. It is also to be found carved on the walls of the Temple of Inscriptions in Palenque, where it functions as a base date from which other dates are computed.[8] However, it is conjectured that this may represent in the Maya belief system a transition from the current Creation world into the next. The 2012 Winter Solstice will also occur on this day at 11:11:32 Greenwich Mean Time.

You'll get up, go to work, have lunch, come home, and go to bed. Actually, I think it's a Friday, so you might have a couple of drinks with your friends.

On December 22, you'll go shopping.

There's a Mayan calendar that goes through several cycles of different lengths. On the day you mentioned, all the cycles re-start at the same time, like the odometer in your car flipping over to all zeroes. Some doomsday predictors are trying to get rich selling a bunch of junk books saying the world will end, blah blah blah ...

Every few years, some new doomsday comes along ... and disappears without a ripple. This one is no different.

Look how crowded the shops are just because it's Christmas and they will be shut for 2 days.

Can you imagine what it will be like when people stock up for the "end of the world" party.

Nothings going to happen mate - and if it does, I'll be down the pub anyway.

Nothing unusual (as far as science knows).
Its the winter solstice, 4 days before Christmas. Probably cold in Canada (where I live), so I may go south for Christmas.
Its a Friday.

Nothing, but on January 31st, 2012 there will be an NEA (Near Earth Asteroid) named 433 Eros. It will pass within .18 AU of the Earth.

the USA will stop the sale of all incandescent light bulbs as part of the newly signed energy bill. In reality, it will add income to the places that make florescent bulbs. They are now 3.00 apiece.

Scientists believe that on that day the huge black hole in our galaxy will line up with the sun and Earth. If all three are in a straight line the pull from the black hole could cause the earth's axis to turn over making the north and south poles east and west. That could result in major climate changes making the Earth a ball of fire or a frozen wasteland. The poles changing could also cause a catastrophic explosion blowing earth into complete oblivion.......Solar Maxims

THAT IS WHAT SCIENTISTS SAY. I BELIEVE YOU WILL ONLY KNOW WHEN THE DAY COMES OR WHEN GOD TELLS YOU!!!
