No, it seems too cheezy to be true. There's probably noone else in our galaxy right now but there may be the odd civilizations occasionally in other distant galaxies.
Whenever technologically advanced races have met less advanced races in this world the less advanced race usually suffers terribly. If a bunch of smarts from space came here and cared to be involved with us they'd probably treat us badly too (for our own good of course! ahem!)
If they're advanced enough to come here they may not have individual physical forms as such, but if they did have physical forms I would not expect them to be either particularly beautiful or particularly ugly.
They'd probably ignore us as being very lowly creatures. They'd be here by chance and only interact with us if they had to. We'd have very little to offer them.
I hope this helps. You could look up stuff on wikipedia if you want more info.

My mom and I saw a ufo years ago, so did half the town, it was huge and totally off the wall. People were calling the police station like crazy, which was funny in a way, what were they going to do about it ?? but everyone was scared. My mom and I were just totally awed. Who knows if it was something the government dreamed up ( some secret type of flying machine) or what, we will never know. There are lots of sightings of strange vehicles and no answers. If the government knows something they will never tell us. There is always a possibility of life out there other than here. It is pretty silly to think we are the only intelligent life form in the huge universe. And I don't think "they" would harm us, or they would have already. Also we are doing plenty to harm ourselves!!

Lots of questions.
I do not believe any alien/ET space craft have been visiting us. Why? We have been searching the sky with sophisticated radio equipment for 40 years, and not one intelligent beep. No government or University has verified a single alien encounter, yet thousands of pedestrians claim to have had sightings and experiences. These same kinds of people see ghosts, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, etc. This phenomenon is well within the range of psychology and sociology.
There may be life, even intelligent life in our own galaxy. You probably don't have to go to other galaxies to find it. I do not believe beings capable of interstellar travel would benefit in any way from harming beings they find on other worlds.
Their biology is a subject of much speculation. I don't think they would look like us, but certain similarities might have evolved in both places because certain structures may be statistically at an advantage in almost any environment.
Until an advanced civilization has reason to be silent, they would probably make a lot of radio noise, like we do. Since interstellar distances are so vast, it probably wouldn't make any difference to them if others knew of their presence. We can pick up a radio signal from 100 light years away, but going there is quite another story.

It doesn't matter what I believe. The opinion of a million uninformed people amounts to nothing. What counts is evidence and scientific review, and thus far there is no concrete evidence that we have been visited by intelligent extra-terrestial lifeforms. Could be, maybe, and possibly are no more evidence that they have been, then simple wishful thinking. It is not that they don't exist; the universe is a big place; but, it is silly to invent facts from fictitious cloth, just to suit our fancy.

well my answer should be no, because I never saw one and really few people did and never got a good record of it. But some how I'd like to think that there is something else out there, who knows?

i hate people who say NO THATS STUPID. who is to say that in another galaxy there may be people saying the same thing. there is no way of knowing so its impossible to give a factual answer, until you get all these hardcore religious people who bring god into it... as usual

We are proof of life in the universe, but there is no other PROOF of life elsewhere, much as it makes for great reading.
I hope there is.
