I have a problem with windows XP, whenever my laptop goes to stand by, if i try to come back from it I can't.
The laptop just stays there frozen and the screen doesn't turn on.
I use windows XP SP2
Laptop Acer travelmate 2303Lci.
It was fine a week ago.
I have tried many solution but so far none have worked.

Are you sure the computer is going into standby? It sounds like it might be going into hibernation. Hibernation might require you to press the on button to get out of it.
Check that your standby buttons or settings have not been changed to go into hibernation instead.
What does happen when you get your machine restarted? Does it go through the normal start up procedure? Or does it say anything else on your screen?
