Merry Christmas

It depends on the religion of the person you're greeting, and the where you are. In the middle east, where it is predominantly Muslim, people (usually Christians) greet each other and send each other cards, with Happy Holidays, or Seasons Greetings, in deference to the Muslim faith. Also, there are Christian sects who do not celebrate Christmas, their reason being that we do not really know the exact birth date of Jesus Christ. However, many still go along with the practice and still greet other and give other Christmas presents. With Catholics, and other Christian faiths, it is very normal to greet and wish each other a Merry Christmas.

Happy Holidays.

I have a lot of Jewish friends who traditionally celebrate Hanukkah, but(behind their rabbi's back) also celebrate Christmas...

And to heck w/ Wal-Mart's "holiday discrimination" rule!...just say "Happy Holidays"!
