my husband and i are trying to get preggo. I started my period yesterday which was 4 days earlier than expected. It is lighter than normal. I almost think that I may finish my period tomorrow. I still have cramping and low back pain with nausea. I have taken preg. tests and they are negative. My original start date of my period was supposed to be on 12-21-07 or 12-22-07. Could I still be preggo and when should I test again. Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

I highly doubt that you are pregnant. But it is possible to have your period when your pregnant and it is possible to have negative pregnancy test. Just don't get your hopes up.
I always spotted for a couple days and then started my period.
With my first pregnancy I spotted a couple days and when i was supposed to start my period i stopped bleeding so i took a pregnancy test that day and the line was barely visible.
My second and third I spotted but never started so i took the test and it was barley visible I stopped spotting for a couple days but i started again and i miscarried latter on those weeks.
My fourth and fifth I took a pregnancy test the day before I expected to get my period and it was negative, then i started lightly bleeding the next day. The day after i took a pregnancy test and if i didn't know what i was looking for i would not have seen the line. But I also miscarried both of them a week later.
I've heard reliable stories about people who never missed a period while they were pregnant. And my mother never had a pee test say she was pregnant, they thought I was a cancerous tumor.

You could absolutely be pregnant. I started spotting about 2 days before my expected period and then finally took a pregnancy test the day after I was supposed to get my period. It was positive. The spotting was implantation spotting. Cramping is actually quite normal early in pregnancy as the baby implants even further and the uterus starts to change. Try re-taking the test in a couple of days using the first urine of the day (most concentrated). Good luck!

Yes. I had a light period, then nothing for 3 days, then another light period, and found out the next month i was pregnant.

It was weird.

Not saying you are for sure, but don't test daily. Give it a few weeks, then test again. It seems like the more you want it, the harder it is to wait.

Good luck!
