Why do parents take school so SERIOUS?? Hummm.
That's because they don't want to you fail school, get pregnant at 13 (or whatever age) and a dull future. Your parents don't want to keep you in their golden ages. No way!
My parents? They are weird. I'm a straight A student, I study a lot and now they want me to quit school and open my own bakery shoppe. I know I can bake good stuff, but isn't that a little too early? I'm only 15!
In my own personal way, I look up to Oprah alot.
Education is very important. It helps to look at the world in many perspectives. Whether it is doomed to be hit by an asteriod or saved by the Justice League.
In the 21st century whereby it is a must for girls now to have a proper education, it's very important.
I don't want to be a begger in the street anytime of my life. No even a second.

Because in today's job market, education is no longer an option. It has become a requirement. I have 3 1/2 yrs of college and a min wage job at Taco Bell b/c I didn't finish. I work for people with an IQ 50 points lower than my own and make a LOT less money. Smart just isn't good enough anymore. You have to have it on paper.

nicely.... i'm variety of a have self belief that there is not any such concern as a nasty college fairly basically undesirable mothers and fathers. actual how huge of a distinction can an straight forward college instructor make if the mothers and fathers are no longer in contact? The issues i glance on the main is classification length, ingredients, and the dedication of the teachers in contact. you would be shocked I even have discovered that a number of the "poorer" appearing faculties have decrease instructor/scholar ratio and extra committed instructors. i've got self belief the teachers are extra committed as a results of fact the are in basic terms desperate for any help/attempt from the mothers and fathers. The great accomplishing college the stick up the butt mothers and fathers have have been given to get previous rapid, understand what I advise. if actuality learn many of the time the poorer appearing faculties have poor infants and disinterested mothers and fathers.

You must be really young to ask this question
Parents take school seriously because it prepares you for the REAL world, you dont wanna be a dead beat in life, nor do you want to have a life that consist of being lazy, improper, no job, etc. Im 18 and I took school VERY seriously, I graduated in June and Im VERY happy my parents pushed me to work hard. Im prepared for the REAL world, Im living it now. I have a high paying job as a Nursing assistant, Im going to college in a few months on a full scholarship. Im set. There are ALOT of parents who dont take their kids school studies seriously, therefore their kids are the ones who ARE NOT having any success. They are going to be the ones who have dead beat jobs, going to be lazy, have no morals, etc. I advise you to take school seriously, it all will catch up to you too whether you beleive it or not. You dont want to be my age, 18, and be a dead beat.

Because a good education is a gateway to so many things in life. The higher degree you get the more money you make. Click this link to see how much more you'll make when you have some type of degree:
http://www.earnmydegree.com/online-education/learning-center/education-value.html
And your parents want to see you living better than they are. Also, some people (usually when you get in college or maybe towards the end of college) don't like dating people who don't have a batchlors degee. Idk why some ppl do this but they do. (note: some)
Also you need to know basic knowledge or else good luck making it in anything in this world.
Your parents have, most likely, seen what a not having an education looks like and they don't want that for you. Still no matter how bad they want it for you, you gotta want it for yourself.

They just want the best for you. You will understand why school is so serious when you are making a living off the salary that you have, because you went to school or not!

Right now, school may not seem like the ideal place to be. However, if you were to leave school, I can guarantee that in a decade, you'd be earning close to minimum wage, living a poorer lifestyle, and wishing that you'd paid more attention in school. Remember, the grades you earn now help determine the college that you'll go to; college will affect your job, lifestyle, family, everything. There are probably many dropouts and mediocre students who wished that they'd done better in school; it's kinda too late for them, but not for you.

We take school seriously because it's the key to your future success. With the proper education you can get a better job, have the potential to make more money, meet a better class of people, and make yourself more "polished."
It is the American dream that you do better than your parents did. Education is the key that will let you do this.

because when you grow up and are on you own.. you wont be able to get a decent job to support yourself without an education.
Its next to impossible to find a decent job with just a high school diploma. It helps ALOT to have a college degree. High School is important now to help prepare you for college.. to set good study habits, and just to learn basic education. If you keep your grades up, it will be alot easier to get accepted into the school you want, and also to get grants/scholarships.

Because getting a good education and doing well there are what gets you into a good college which gets you a higher paying job. At the same time, even if you don't intend to go to college, your potential employers call your high school for transcripts or just for a character reference and if you're a crappy student, have an attitude problem, or poor attendance, they won't want to hire you.
