So the Hobbit is green lit and most likely to be shot in New Zealand again. I already work in the film industry here in the states in the costume/wardrobe department. How would I go about finding a way to work on this picture?

The NZ film industry is pretty small so I would look at the credits on LOTR (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0167261/fullcredits) to see names of who worked in the costume/wardrobe department. Then check out www.filmnz.com in the production contacts and see if you can find anyone to contact directly. Depends how high up you are as you can either go through a company that is likely to be working on the picture or go directly to WETA and apply. Ngila Dickson would also be great to contact obviously! Film NZ or the New Zealand Film Commission should be able to give you a contact for her. Good luck!

Peter Jackson will NOT be the director of the hobbit - he will instead be the producer.

To contact Peter Jackson will can email him through;

Email Peter Jackson your CV - or most likely send it in or contact his production company - WETA in Wellington.
