Eating some bedding like that stuff is not a big deal, and she look a bit swollen, but mostly like she is plump.

Make sure she has water and good temps/humidity. You may also want to give her a good soak once a day until she has a good bowel movement- use about 1 1/2" to 2" of warm water in something like a plastic shoe box.

Boxies tend to overeat like crazy, so our plan is rather small meals most days of the week.

Even though a natural substrate looks really nice - this stuff has killed an awful lot of reptiles who have ingested too much and became impacted. Newspaper is the safest ting to use. She could be having trouble trying to pass the substrate. If this is what has made her bottom so swollen - and it does look that way - you honestly need a vet (which is a good idea anyway) and get some help. It could be as easy as added fluids or a little olive oil. DO NOT try this yourself. You could cause tissue to tear internally causing serious infection. This is for the vet to decide.

To help find a vet near you try these links and expect to travel. I go 3 hours round trip for my herp vet:

Make sure she also has the proper diet, temperatures and UVB.
