We didn't have a TV until I was 11. We would walk about 1/2 mile to a neighbor and watch The Beverly Hillbillys on Wednesday night, The Andy Griffin Show on Monday night, and Walt Disneys Wonderful World of Color and Bonaza on Sunday night. Once we got a TV, our shows included Raw Hide, Dragnet, The Ed Sullivan Show and Red Skelton. Sometimes after school, if I was caught up on chores and homework and if the weather was bad, I was allowed to watch Leave it to Beaver and Superman. I can remember wrapping foul around the Rabbit Ears or one of us having to stand in one particular spot to get the station to come in.

Land of the Lost was my absolute favorite! Followed closely by H.R. Puffin Stuff and Scooby Doo! (Well shucks ... I can see why we get along!) =)

And how could you not mention Sigmund Sea Monster? That one was right up there ... I loved Sigmund! He was so cute! =)

As a matter of fact ... here he is!

Awww ... would ya look at that face??

You can't forget ... Go Speed Racer ... Speed Buggy ... Inch High Private Eye ... Great Grape Ape ... Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids ...Wait Till Your Father Gets Home ... Electric Company ... Groovy Ghoulies ...

Those were the days ... cartoons were actually worth watching and didn't cram the grown up b.s. down your throat. You could just laugh and have a good time. I miss that ...

Wacky Races, Mighty Heroes, Underdog, Tennessee Tuxedo, The Monkees, Gilligans Island, also Rocky and Bullwinkle. There may be others too that I can't remember at the moment. Sorry I couldn't pick a favorite but I hope these shows bring back memories.
