Pick a best answer. I think it's lazy for them to ask the question but not follow through and give credit to the person that helped them.

I prefer they pick the answer! After all, they asked the question! When it goes to voting, it can take months, in case of a tie, before somebody gets the ten points. Besides, I like to know why I got the best answer, and, when somebody votes for it themselves, they usually give an explanation as to why. With the exception of one time, I always pick the best answer myself, and wish others would do the same!

I personally like it when they pick an answer. It shows that they are actually thinking about your answer, just not being lazy and forgetting about it! I once let my question go to voting, but most of the time I always pick an answer!

Gosh, I need to learn the rules here. I just learned 3 days ago that I could write back to those that picked mine as best answer! I've asked a few questions and did not know that I had to pick best answer. Don't I feel stupid! Learn something new every day. Sorry folks. Old people should not be allowed on the computer. JUST KIDDING :-) ha ha ha Joke. Get it. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

There's a better chance that I'll get picked as best answerer so I prefer the question to go into voting better.

They need to pick a best answer. For me personally, if I've asked a question and people have obviously taken the time to write out a thoughtful, detailed answer, then I'm going to pick a best answer. If people are going to take the time to give a decent answer, then they deserve to get a best answer.

Sometimes I get too lazy to pick best answer. I know for more personal answers I pick best answers but for polls I just let the community pick.

I would rather the asker pick and answer so the winner knows that they helped the person!

Usually, I'd rather they pick a best answer. I can understand, though, when they don't want to pick a best answer when all of the answers are "i don't know" or "good question".
