When Zatch Bell first came out, I loved watching it. Then it came to the second season... when they came up with the heart stuff, I was like: This is the gayest thing ever.

When One Peice came out, I sorta liked it. but then the voices and art started to get on my nerves and then the seasons got slower and slower and I stopped watching. Now that funimation has it, I'm starting to like it again.

Believe it or not, when I first saw Naruto, I hated the show so much. I wouldn't watch 5 seconds of it. i have no idea what changed my mind to liking it. I believe there was nothing else on tv but stupid repeats i've seen like 50 times so i watched it. It was 3 episodes in a row and i absolutely loved it! I'm so happy now because I don't know where I'd be without it.

I still like bleach too... but right now, I'm starting to force myself tow atch the new episodes.

Well, the first time I saw Cardcaptor Sakura it was the American butchered versoin, called Cardcaptors -- I hated it with a passion. Later I discovered the originals and completely fell in love with the storyline -- once I saw that there was a storyline LOL.

As to the other way around, I'd say that Urusei Yatsura was like that for me. I loved the series initially, to a point that I bought the first 20 volumes on DVD. Now when I pop one of those in I can't stomach more than two episodes in one setting -- this from a person who can marathon through a 26 episode series in one day!

Dragonball....

I never liked it cause my brother was always watching it. The first episode I saw was when Goku turned into the ape. I was like "What the hell? The kid just turned into a fricking monkey!" Although since my brother never gave up the remote, I was forced to watch Dragonball. And I'm glad I was because, it was my favorite thing ever! I grew to love that anime so much, and I finally realized that the whole ape thing was an anime thing [hence Serena transforming into Sailor Moon...and ninja and shinigami...] Seriously though, if it wasn't for Dragonball I would never have liked anime! o_0 As much as I hate admiting it, I owe credit to my little brother... >.<

Vice versa... Love Hina.

I couldn't get past the first three episodes. In the first episode it seemed okay and so cute, but once you got past the first - you found out how pervy that anime is.. o_0.

Not an anime, but... Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber series. It started off like a hardboiled mystery story, which I was in the mood for. In the second or third chapter, it started turning weird, which I wasn't in the mood for, so I gave it back to the freind that loaned it to me, and said No thanks.

Several years later, I was in a bookstore looking for a sword-and-sorcery series, and someone recommended it to me. I started reading it and it didn't seem at all like sword-and- sorcery. When I got to the third chapter, I remembered it.

But I kept reading and it became really interesting. The characters are so intense, the scenes, situations and descriptions are so excellent, it was really enjoyable. It became one of my all time favorite series and I read the over and over again until the covers fell off the books!

Roger Zelazny was a true word artist, he could put things into your imagination you never dreamed of before, and it was better than any video or film. His stories won Hugo and Nebula awards, and he earned them. If you have never read them, go find them at a bookstore or library. I highly recommend them.

eh, you may not believe it, but that anime was death note, lol...
my elder brother recommended me that so I watched it even though I've quitted watching anime at that time, I was fed up with the anime(s) so I watched death note from its half(I never wanted to watch any anime anymore), it was when Light saw Ryuk and was talking to him(ep.1), I was like "wtf, this anime is so ridiculous, a boy with a monster going to fight with eachother, I quit it!!!" I told my brother not to recommend me any anime, but he forced me to watch it again and now.........
I LOVE DEATH NOTE!!!!! <3

vice versa..... it's eyeshield 21, Shaman King and Fullmetal Alchemist!
lol, I've watched 50 episodes from eyeshield 21 and quit it, if the series was ended I'd continue watching it....
in the first 10 episodes of FMA I was really bored, so I quit it, but then my silly brother spoiled a very important part of the anime, he says I wouldn't care since I quitted it, he told me what happened to Hughes, so lol, I began watching it again till it ended and now I don't remember anything from the anime :p
I've quitted Shaman King after watching 10 episodes, it couldn't catch my attention.... those were the 3 series that I thought I'd like but nothing was special about them, that's why I watched 10 episodes of each anime thinking it'd get better but nothing actually changed...

It was BLEACH!!!!

I used to hate it because of all the Naruto vs Bleach Vids, and my friends bragging about Bleach and stuff, so yeah.

One time I even started B****ing at one of my friends because he was too damn annoying....

But now, I saw the episode where Renji fights Ichigo, then later this year, like around October or September, I started watching the series in English, and now I plan on watching them in Japanese, Woot!!

I am now a Bleach and Naruto Lover!!!
