Not really.
Hilton is a publicly-traded company, so while Paris may own some Hilton stock, she could easily sell it and buy stock in any other company (Google, Ford, GE, etc.). Assuming that Paris owns some Ford stock, you are helping her when you buy a Ford. At the end of the day, staying at a Hilton doesn't help or hurt Paris (who I'm sure has someone else managing her investment portfolio). If the Hilton stock underperforms, her investment manager will just sell it.

Aside from Hilton being a public company (a good point), the Hilton family fortune was established years ago by Paris' grandfather(?), so what happens today has little impact on the her income (she's done modeling, films, and music in addition to her lucrative reality show) or the size of her trust fund.

OMG these people have no idea what they are talking about. I work for hilton. All of our profit goes to the owner... who is not a hilton. We are owned by 10 other people. People pretty much just pay hilton to use the name. But the profits from the hotel itself goes to individual owners. You guys should figure out what you are talking about before you answer questions.
