An exploratory team is sent to investigate a newly discovered planet. The astronauts feel only 75% as heavy as they do on Earth. The radius of this planet is 2.0x10^6 meters. What is the mass of the planet??

i tried it wanted to check if the anwser was right

Hi. Answer 1 is great. Do we ignore centripetal force due to rotation?

0.75 = (M/Me) / (R/Re)^2
R = 2.0E+6 meters
Re = 6.378E+6 meters
Me = 5.974E+24 kilograms
therefore...
M = 4.406E+23 kilograms
