He was the leading Republican and now he's tied with Mitt Romney. I think Rudy is one of the best republicans in the race and I feel he has the potential to get elected overpowering the Republican's biggest rival(mine too), Hitlery Clinton.

What caused his popularity to slump?

They're only polls. He'll outlast the others by a mile.
Have you seen the call-in polls after a debate? Always Ron Paul. Forget polls. They mean nothing.

He was never that popular. The news just told you he was. The closer the election gets, the harder the secret is to keep. NY and NJ will both go to Ron Paul in the Primaries. Rudy isn't even liked by the FDNY!! Do a youtube search for Giulianni and FDNY. The National Fire Fighters' Union has a video blaming Rudy for the deaths of many FF's on 9/11. He's done.

I thought so too but Romney sounds better now. Whoever gets in MUST close the borders or this country will no longer be our country. What happened to the safe senceable double wall that will protect the border guards and keep intruders out of here? It works well in Az. I understand. Stop Hilliary Now on the radio with Shawn Hannity has the right idea.

He was never very popular to begin with. Hell, he wasn't even very Republican! I'd bet most of his supporters in the polls were borderline democrats. There is a reason why no clear front-runner has emerged from the GOP, and this is it.

Now that Huckabee has emerged from anonymity to pretty much second place, Republicans who are tired of Rudy finally have a man they can stand behind, and they are standing behind him.

I am not a big fan of Huckabee, but I can't doubt that he's going to be the man when the primaries come up.

Dear sweet little Brakky -- Rudy Giuliani is a philanderer who shouldn't be elected dog-catcher, let alone be allowed to run the greatest country in the free world. I mean, the guy wanted to move his GIRLFRIEND into Gracie Mansion while his WIFE was still living in it.
At least Bill didn't put Monica up in the Lincoln Bedroom. He kept her in a closet where she belonged.

Rudy is a big creepy womanizing cheater. 9/11 might not have been so bad had he spent the money and supported the fire and police depts. properly and had they been equipped with decent radios so they could have communicated between departments. You need to open your mind and read about all of the other candidates, you will easily find someone better to support.

He was a crook and lacks of moral and professional judgement.

He married his cousin, and cheated his first two wives. His kids do not to help his election.

He picked the former police chief who has since been indicted.

He has made himself millionaire from 9/11 and the presidential campaign.

To know him is to hate him. People now know him.

Scandals. It would be OK with republicans if he were just stealing money from taxpayers. But they sure do not want a guy that commits adultery while stealing from the tax payers.

Rudy is a crook. And if we want another George W. Bush, why not vote for another religious shyster like Huckabee?
