I like to! Even though i know they probably arent... when someone close to you dies, your mind works over time to match coincidences in life to them giving you a sign to tell you they are ok... it helps put your mind at rest that they are peacful in death an not in pain, an are thinkin of yu.

I do believe in ghosts and spirits. The women in my family all have clairvoyance and clairsentience to varying degrees. I have more clairsentience, but I do have many clairvoyant experiences and have seen many ghosts and spirits. My mother actually works on a ghost rescue and entity removal team out in California, and has many very interested stories from her investigations. I could contact them if I want to, as I also have some abilities as a medium, but generally there's really no reason to. The dead don't really have any special knowledge, and they retain the greater part of the personality that they had while they were on earth. Most ghosts are either very sad, very frightened, or very angry - not really the kind of people you want to be talking to...unless you are there to help them move on, or negotiating a compromise as to their activites. Spirits of the dead, are a slighly different story. They are not ghosts, not earthbound - they have moved on, but are still coming back for visits. They still don't really have that much more knowledge than we do, and they still have the same basic personalities - though they may be somewhat tempered by their new perspectives. Spirits of the dead are generally most helpful with matters close to the physical - like money, career, etc. They can offer some advice spiritually speaking, but generally they will retain their same beliefs and biases. They are not suddenly omnipotent or omniscient simply because they are dead. But one should NEVER try to contact ghosts or spirits through a ouija board or other similar device unless they are a trained and adept spiritual worker or some sort or another. Ghosts and spirits of humans are not the only things that talk through such devices, and you're just as likely to contact a mischevious astral trickster or outright trouble-maker with a BAD attitude. If you think you have abilities as a medium, or would like to work on developing them, contact someone who runs controlled and ongoing classes on the matter - and make sure that you check and double-check their credentials (you can ask for references). That way you will learn how to properly undertake mediumistic activies - which includes learning how to be an adept at personal sheilding and protection first and foremost!

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls
You also have a Spirit Guide which has been with you from the time you was born till the day you pass over : )
Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )
Food for thought isn't it ?
Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.
Love & Blessings

Yes, because I've lived in 2 houses that were haunted. My family (plus friends and relatives) saw and heard strange things for years, that were definitely NOT imaginary.
A person's imagination doesn't pull light fixtures from the ceiling and smash them, or slam doors, or pound on the walls, or knock the contents off a shelf and scatter everything clear across the room.
The internet and tv have popularized "ghost hunting", and a lot of foolish, gullible people are calling *anything* odd they see, paranormal. It's a shame, because they make the whole subject look fictitious, and is isn't.

it doesnt sound impossible for some sort of ghost to exist but there is no proof or strong evidence suggesting the actuall existance of any. i see no reason to take a stance on the situation until i see some kind of proof. but to answer the question the way you put it i will say 'no' i dont believe in ghosts (because there is not yet any proof or reason too.)

I used to. But every now and then, someone will tell me a ghost story and I get really freaked out about ghosts for like two months, then I go out of the 'ghost-are-real' reaction.

Yes, I believe in ghosts. I have seen several in my lifetime and so has my sister. (I'm 53 and she is 57) So far, there has only been one that scared (or concerned) us. The rest were just there and didn't bother us. Some left within a few days and others left within a few weeks.

Ghost and reincarnation are real!
I know for a fact that i have lived before! Many different people have seen the ghost (Bob) of my last life time walking around when i 'm asleep (kind of an astral projection)! And at least one person said that Bob had a silver cord protruding out of his stomach area.
One time back in about 1980 a woman named Cindy Bang came to work one day and told everybody about a strange dream she had. She said that the dream was very real. In the dream this guy named Bob came to her bedroom and was talking to her. She said that she couldn't see his face, but he was one of the guys that worked there in the factory(she worked in the factory office)!
She said that in her dream they were talking to each other about old times, and she was dressed up as a Southern Belle and going by the name Pat.
She said that Bob was dressed up in some kind of strange out fit (she didn't realize that it was a uniform of the Ohio Militia during the Civil War)!
This woman named Pat had been an Aunt of Margarat Mitchell that woman who wrote the book "Gone With The Wind" and she had gotten some of her ideas from stoies Pat told her! That is one of the things that they had said in Cindy's dream.
I already knew from a vision i had in 1973 that in my last life i had been a Civil War vet. This was in Pillipsberg, MT. and i had told many people about it including my gf at that time Cathy! Also there were many Mormons in the area and the Church of Mormon got interested for several reasons! One being that one person had seen my ghost Bob walking in the hallway of the hotel i lived in and it (Bob the ghost) opened the door to my room and walked right in. At that point in time i was sitting on the bed just kind of day dreaming. Cathy was in the room too but had her back was towards the door and she never saw anything.
Anyhow long, long story short (many years and many incidents) I never told Cindy that i was the guy in her dream(Bob) but i did tell some other people about it one being a woman named Carrie in 1987. A day or so later she went to the hospital for some reason. When she was there in the hospital she read the story about Cindy's dream in the Fargo Fourm newspaper! I never read the story in the paper but many other people told me that they did.
Bob use to live where Whitehall, Ohio(Whitehall was built after WWII) is today and he was buried there but they moved him to Arlington cemetery back many years ago in the 1980s because of highway construction that went over the cemetery that he was buried in!
Also the home that Pat had lived in during the civil war was bought by the Church of LDS.

No. I think that even sane people can sometimes experience occasional hallucinations, or misinterpret dreams and other natural phenomena. People that believe they have seen ghosts or experienced supernatural phenomena caused by ghosts usually fall into this category. That's might explanation for ghosts anyway.
