honestly, it depends on your style.
Abercrombie's clothes is modeled after the New York preppy style. Hollister's clothes is modeled after the California beachy, surfer look.
also, Hollister is a tad cheaper than Abercrombie but then again the quality is not so great. I get holes in the most random places in my shirts.

hollister clothes are way cuter! and lot of abercrombie stuff is just gay and always looks the same. Also, abercrombie clothes seem to look all lame on u after a while and then their new stuff is just the same as their old stuff. Hollister is WAY better!

They are about even in my opinion. Hollister though is more california and Abercrombie is a little more preppy. But the prices are almost the same and most of the styles similar.

First, hollister is actually part of abercrombie. Thats why they sometimes have really similar stuff, but hollister is more beachy-ish and free, and abercrombie is more prep and crisp. they're both great and i buy stuff from both like all the time.

they're about the same, but pricewise, a&f is more expensive than hollister.
it really depends on your style
if you want a cali, laid back look, then that's hollister
if you want a sophisticated, laid back look, then abercrombie and fitch
i personally <3 abercrombie, even though it's more expensive, hollister is too babyish for me, i'm 16

hollister is owned my abercrombie.
in my opinion, i like abercrombie better. but thats just my opinion.

abercrombie owns hollister, so they're pretty much the same thing. the things things they sell look alike. a&f is only more expensive than hco, is because of the name.
i wouldnt really call hco a "california" style, because... its not, except for the fact that it says "california" on the tees.

Abercrombie fits me alot better and I think it is a little cuter but heck either are super cute so...yeah!

thats a question that only you can answer, if you wanna go along with what everyone else thinks, then go ahead but just go into both stores, and see what you like, also keep in mind that as seasons go by, there cloths change, so you dont HAVE to pick a fav.
