Do you know any libel lawsuit attorney who is willing to take cases in contingency-base, and represent the plantiff? It should be around Los Angeles metropolitan area.

I doubt any lawyer would take a libel case on a contingency, as these cases are extremely difficult to prove and win.

You would have to have an "open and shut" case and those are pretty rare.

But here's a link to a few names you can call and ask:

The probability of success in libel and slander cases is so low that I doubt if any lawyer would take it on a contingency basis.

You have to be able to prove.

1. The respondent made false statements.
2. The respondent knew the statements to be false.
3. The respondent made the statements with the deliberate intention of harming you.
4. The respondent's statements did in fact harm you.

It's a tall order. Any lawyer who isn't smart enough to ask for a big fat retainer up front isn't smart enough to win the case for you.

It'l drag on for years. Even if you win, and the judge awards costs, you will only get a fraction of your mega legal bill back.

There aren't any. All of the ones that could possibly win a case are way expensive and like their money up front.

Call the local bar association - they should have a referral service.
