Oh $hit, this is the exact same problem I have. I live in Bridgeport (Southwest CT) just 45 mins from NYC so I'm a NY Yankee fan. I mean I am so much closer to NY then to Boston. I'm a NE Patriots fan though because well CT is still part of New England. Someone can call me a bandwagon fan if they want but I don't care. I loved the Pats before they became a dynasty and I still love the Yanks despite not winning a title since 2000 and nothing/no one is going to change that.

I grew up in Connecticut myself. The problem with being a Yankees fan and a Patriots fan is the fact that it makes you seem like you just root for the teams that are known for winning. The Yankees have the most World Series championships in baseball and the Patriots are dominating the NFL. I have always been a Red Sox and Patriots fan. Whatever... I guess if Tom Brady can be a Yankees fan so can you.

so you always like the sport's dynasties?

You like the Patriots but not the Red Soxs

You like the Yankees but not the Giants or Jets

I bet you like the Celtics in basketball this year but in the 1990s you liked the Knicks

I say you should pick the region your team is in. you live in NE (like me) so you should stick with NE teams(sox, pats, celts, and bruins). But it is up to you to decide.

That's alright. You can choose whichever your favorite teams are. You support them and nobody says you have to stop liking them. It's your choice.
