Not a fair question.
The impulse is music only because most of us encounter music more often than paintings. But really thinking of it, a really good painting can be just as moving, breath taking even. Unfortunately, in today's digital age I think the non-digital arts may be taking a beating.
But Monet, Achileos, Valejo, Ross, Da Vinci, Hildenbrant, Bell, or Monet can be just as inspiring as any number of musical artists.

I have seen paintings that have brought tears to my ears but I think music is something that is more in your life everyday and may be why most feel that music is more moving!!
