Good Will, Salvation Army, or Churches in your area.
I'll add you to my prayer list. Be sure to give your children lots of kisses and love...that is always the best gift ever.

ya know poppy you have no clue . when my youngest son was in grade school he had ( and still does have a learning disability) he had a problem putting thoughts on paper also . so the school donated a computer for him. we certainly didnt have the money back then to buy one , so until you know the facts dont be so judgemental. anyway. im very sorry for your loss and i hope that you tried to get some help earlier . i dont think there are too many places right now that will help you. you could try the salvation army and the churches , but call soon .

The true meaning of Christmas is in your heart and not what is under the tree. Set time aside to make gifts with your kids to give to your friends and family.
You can ask for help from Toys for tots, salvation army and some local radio stations. It might be too late to ask for help.
Best of luck!

Well it's a bit late now, but many churches have programs to help needy families.
Even without a lot of money for presents, there are other things you can do for your children. You can make special ornaments for them, make cookies, popcorn strings, paper chains etc.
Look for Christmas charity organizations in your area they also may be able to help.

I'm assuming that you mean he passed away Christmas last year. You're a bit late right now but maybe someone in your area will help. Contact one of the charities in your area. Some of them provide toys, clothing and foodstuff this time of year. Catholic Charities and churches can be very helpful if you ask for help. If you know your local town, county or village elected officials, call them and ask if they could help you or refer you to organizations that are equipped to help you.

Cassandra, I am so very sorry about your husband and your situation. My heart goes out to the children!
I would suggest that you go to the local churches. I know the Catholic Church has the Knights of Columbus Group and they help out families every Christmas! I highly suggest you contact them!
I will be in prayer for your children and for the healing of your family, since the death of your husband and their father!
May God bless you,
gail

Poppy, why pass judgment? For all you know, she could be using one at work, a friend's home, or at the public library. The first answer had it right. Merry Christmas and God bless you all!

All the charities took applications in October or first week of November. I assume since it has been a year since their father died, that you have already applied to them and gotten toys and groceries. At this late date I'm afraid that there is no charity that will be able to do anything last minute.
