Both are excellent schools which will prepare you well for professional school. I think it depends more upon you and what you respond to better. UMD is a lot larger, and offers a lot of opportunities, but if you are a person who hasn't yet developed full confidence in yourself, you could get lost there. Morehouse, on the other, is one of the strongest HBCUs, and these often do a great job of developing individuals' self-assurance, but since it is smaller, you may not find quite the range of courses to take.

I personally would not go to UMD. I'm from Georgia, and unless you are African American don't go to Morehouse. Morehouse is OK, but there are better schools out there.
