I want to do a hard reset my dell inspiron notebook..does anyone know the botton sequence for the hard reset?

I believe it's shift+F11 or ctrl-F11 to access the system recovery utility, but you have to hold the keys at *just* the right time.

The window of opportunity is fairly short, so you might need to go through a few reboots before you catch it.

Reboot Pressing Ctrl + F11 to display the PC Restore tool.

maybe f11 or f12 but i bet they have it on there site.
