I barely knew a thing about the guy... but he stood next to me for an hour and I'm telling you... my heart beat harder than it'd ever beaten and my stomach was no longer hungry and I was SHAKING... I am a teen now, I've never felt such intense feelings of love as I did then. I really do think that it was love.

you can't love a person without knowing them; that's the basis of love --love is genuine when u love someone knowing who they truly are....when you're in love --you're actually calm but you just care deeply about that someone....i think u were just deeply infatuated with what you saw--your own perception of a fantacized perfect person----infatuation can be intensely felt and mistakened for love bcuz its just that intense---i've experienced the same ---but i learned to go on

Love is subjective. Love is a series of practical considerations that are difficult to quantify, but make sense.

The subjective part is very real to you. That's enough to qualify as "love."

The practical sides involve cultural mores and norms. It makes sense to not commit to someone who's radically different from you because love marriage requires a number of factors to be compatible in a long-term way.

Thus, I'd say, "Let your brain judge who you should marry. But no one can tell you that you don't love someone, not even you."

My first love occurred at 13. I guess I wasn't as precocious as you, hey? She was a terrific gal. I ran into her again about a dozen years later, and she was still terrific, though a bit distant because I was attached to a different gal.

Nope, darling, you aren't crazy. You were just lucky enough to experience what we all look for, just that you did it a bit earlier than is usual.

You're not crazy, but you're a very passionate person.
Love, true love at least, cannot happen at first sight. It is a process. Passions are an important part of that love, and they often trigger the beginning of the process.

Find him, get to know him, deal with his quirks, I guaruntee he's got some. Then see if you love him, and be truthful to yourself.
